Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules that apply when you create an account and order a VPS or dedicated server, including billing, renewals, service requests and liability.

Agreement

You accept these terms when you create an account and each time you place an order. The Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund Policy and the Service Level Agreement form part of these terms. The Privacy Policy explains what data we store.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean CazanHosting, the operator of cazanhosting.store. “You” means the person or organisation using the account.

Who can use the service

You must be an adult to create an account or order a service.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your account key and recovery key safe
  • the software you install and run on your server, including any licences it needs
  • your data, including keeping your own backups
  • complying with the laws that apply to you
  • following the Acceptable Use Policy

Accounts and keys

  • An account does not need an email address, name, username, password, phone number or ID documents.
  • When you create an account, you receive a random 64-character account key and a recovery key in the same format. Both are shown only once. Save them by copying them or downloading them as a .txt file.
  • Either key logs you in. Anyone who has one of your keys can use your account, so keep them private.
  • We store only a keyed one-way hash of each key. We cannot see, reset or recover your keys.
  • If you lose both keys, the account cannot be accessed by anyone, including us.
  • In account settings you can regenerate either key, log out everywhere and delete your account. When you regenerate a key, the old one stops working and your other sessions are logged out.

Ordering and delivery

Setup times:

  • VPS: Instant after payment confirmation.
  • Dedicated servers: Within 24 hours.
  • Add-ons on a VPS: Within 12 hours.

VPS

VPS plans have instant deployment after payment confirmation. We build servers in advance for each plan and operating system and keep them in stock. As soon as your payment is confirmed, the server’s IP address and initial login details appear in your dashboard. Change the password when you first log in.

Plan and operating system combinations that are out of stock cannot be ordered. If stock for your exact plan and operating system runs out between checkout and payment, we set up the VPS by hand instead and tell you in a ticket. Setup time in that case: Within 24 hours.

Dedicated servers

Dedicated servers are set up by staff after payment. Setup time: Within 24 hours.

Add-ons

Add-ons, such as an extra IPv4 address or extra RAM, are applied by staff after delivery. A VPS is delivered first, with instant deployment after payment confirmation, and its add-ons follow.

Start of the billing period

The billing period starts when the server is delivered. For a VPS from stock, that is right after payment confirmation. For dedicated servers and hand-built VPSs, it starts when we mark the server as ready.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are monthly and in EUR. Billing cycles of 3 and 12 months are also available, at a discount.
  • We accept Monero, Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and Litecoin through NOWPayments. We do not accept cards or bank transfers.
  • Checkout creates an invoice. For a new order, the invoice and the stock reserved for it are valid for 60 minutes. If a payment has already been detected, the invoice stays open until the payment is confirmed.
  • You can replace an expired invoice with a new one from your dashboard.
  • An invoice is marked paid automatically when NOWPayments confirms the payment. Your dashboard shows the status live.
  • Partial payments, payments of the wrong amount and payments that arrive after the invoice expired are not applied automatically. Staff review them, and a Billing ticket is opened automatically so that we can agree with you on a top-up, a refund or applying the payment.
  • Printable receipts for paid invoices are available in your dashboard.

Renewals

  • A renewal invoice appears in your dashboard 5 days before the renewal date.
  • Renewals use the price agreed when you ordered. Later price changes on the website apply only to new orders.
  • If the renewal invoice is not paid by the renewal date, a grace period of 3 days follows. Your service keeps running during the grace period.
  • After the grace period, the service is marked overdue and we post a ticket message.

Suspension and termination

Staff decide whether to suspend or terminate an overdue service. This is never automatic, and we tell you in a ticket.

We may also suspend or terminate a service that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy. Abuse reports are handled as described in that policy: you are notified in a ticket and have 30 days to resolve the case before the service is suspended. Services terminated for breaking the Acceptable Use Policy are not refunded.

Upgrades and one-off invoices

Staff can change the plan of a service when you request an upgrade. Staff can also issue a one-off invoice for a service, for example to charge for an upgrade. It appears in your dashboard and is paid the same way as any other invoice.

Service requests

Our website never connects to our servers or hypervisors. Reboot, reinstall, upgrade and cancellation are requests you make from your dashboard. Each request creates a support ticket, and staff carry it out, normally within our support response time. Expected response time: Within 12 hours.

When you request a reinstall, you choose the operating system. A reinstall erases all data on the server.

Cancellation

You can request cancellation from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals, and the service keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

Communication

We communicate only through the ticket system in your dashboard. We do not send email, so please check your dashboard regularly, especially around renewal dates. Notices such as overdue warnings, abuse reports and suspension decisions are posted as ticket messages.

Data and backups

We do not offer backups. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your data, especially before you request a reinstall.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in account settings by typing your key again. Your key hashes and sessions are deleted immediately. Running services are cancelled at once, their stored login details are wiped and staff wipe the servers. Tickets are kept for support history but are no longer linked to any account. Invoices are kept for accounting for 3650 days and then deleted automatically. The unused part of a paid period is not refunded.

Liability

  • The service is provided as described on our website.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the last 3 months.
  • We are not liable for any loss of data.
  • Compensation for downtime is given as extra service time, as set out in the Service Level Agreement.

Changes to these terms

We announce changes to these terms on our website. When the terms change materially, we also tell active customers with a ticket message in the dashboard.
